MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) cannot be installed into Ceedo

Certain applications require MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) to be installed into the Ceedo environment in order to be able to be installed into Ceedo. However, MDAC cannot be installed into Ceedo in the traditional manner using the Argo application installer.

To overcome this, Ceedo have put together an MDAC package that will set up MDAC into Ceedo with a couple of mouse clicks.

To install the MDAC package, launch Ceedo and open Internet Explorer from within the Ceedo environment. Copy and paste the following URL into Internet Explorer's navigation bar, and hit the enter key on your keyboard:

When you reach the page, you will see the golden plug-in installation bar at the top of the Internet Explorer Window. Click on the bar and then select the option to install the MDAC package.

The MDAC package will install with no further prompting, and when the installation has completed, you should be able to install your MDAC-dependent applications into Ceedo.
